Communicating with Caltrans
I know of two ways to reach Caltrans: paper mail and e-mail.
The very best, most effective thing you can do is to compose a letter, on paper, using your own words, expressing your opposition. Hand-written is fine. Word-processed is fine. Regardless, your own, heartfelt words will be much more convincing than the boilerplate letter below.
Remember our best argument: Caltrans will be blocking a working, safe intersection, and forcing us to use a busier, less-safe intersection.
Please be polite and professional; anything else will likely be ignored and discarded.

The Boilerplate Letter
If you don't have the time to compose a letter, I've included a basic letter here.
You're welcome to use it as-is, if you wish, but I think it would be better if you could personalize it in some way.
You can edit this copy here and then click one of the links below to copy to your clipboard or send it as an email.
Note: All edits happen on your computer, no data is being sent to our server.
